Innovative power-line transceiver for low cost UART / LIN-bus network.
Noise robust due to Unique Multi phase modulation
Higher bit rate - up to 115.2 Kbps.
The multiplex network operates over wide voltage range battery power-line.
Economical - Small footprint CMOS design.
Replaces a UART / LIN-bus transceiver.
Eliminates the UART / LIN-bus data wire.
Sine wave modulation - less EMC
Multiple independent networks can share the same power-line by using different carrier frequencies.
The DC-BUS is a family of devices for multiplex communication networks over a single wire or a battery power-line using UART and LIN sub-bus protocols
The devices use original signaling technology. It provides a new economical physical communication transceiver for asynchronous protocols, overcoming the hostile environment over the vehicle battery power-line.
The SIG60 replaces the LIN-bus transceiver and the LIN-bus data wire. Its data rate more than triples the LIN transfer rate. The SIG60 saves node costs and increases the network capacity. While the SIG61 is an independent UART slave device that performs remote input / output control of Mechatronics elements.
A sleep mode enables power saving. Wakeup messages over the DC power line awaken remote devices as required by the LIN-bus protocol.
The devices can be economically integrated with other CMOS applications such as micro controllers.
Applications in wide range of consumer products and vehicular modules such as doors, seats, mirrors, climate control, lights etc. The SIG40 contains a host and LIN-bus interface, modem, line-driver and ceramic filter interface.
