DCB500/DCAN250 Powerline Carrier Transceiver Evaluation Board
The DCB500/DCAN250 Evaluation Board enables to network multiple DCB500/DCAN250 power-line Carrier transceivers. Large amount of data can be streamed over Direct Current (DC) line carrier. Multiple DCB500/DCAN250 boards can be multiplex over vehicle's DC power-line.
The PLC evaluation board contains all the required hardware for operation as a modem, such as line protection network, filter and power supply. The board performs serial data communication over DC power-line at data rates of up to 500Kbps. The SPI / UART Serial Interface simplifies connection to a host ECU or a PC for application development.
The evaluation board get its power and operate from 10V to 36V DC power-line.
